After checking into your room, we'll have a gentle yoga session to stretch out our bodies after travelling and there'll be a chance for a sauna before our first dinner together.
-
We’ll start our day with a big buffet breakfast ready for our first day in the mountains.
Today we'll be venturing into the heart of the Rondane National Park, Norway's first official national park. We'll hike through dramatic landscapes, surrounded by the 10 towering mountains that each rise above 2000m in height. We'll arrive back at the hotel in the evening for saunas and a delicious 3 course dinner.
Hike info: 15km, 460m up
Transfer time: 15 minute each way.
-
It's an early start today, as we've got our toughest day of hiking ahead of us! We'll head to Jotunheimen National Park for our hike up Besseggen, one of Norway's most awe-inspiring and beautiful hikes before catching the boat on lake Gjende to the start of the ascent. We'll be hiking 1110m up to the ridge to enjoy spectacular views. There’ll be some straightforward scrambling and on the ridge it is steep and exposed, so you must be comfortable with heights for this hike!
Hike info: 20km, 1100m up, 1100m down.
Transfer time: 1h30 each way.
-
After a leisurely breakfast, we'll head out for a day exploring the lakes and forest peaks of the surrounding area.
Today's hike is more easy going, through varying landscapes and with the opportunity to wild swim in one of the lakes. We'll enjoy stunning views of the Rondane mountains that we hiked the previous day. We'll return to the hotel in the late afternoon and have a yoga class before another delicious dinner.
Hike info: 12km, 380m up
Transfer time: 30 min each way.
-
After an active few days, we’ll have a relaxed morning.
We’ll have a final yoga class and wild swim in the lake before departing.
